Covering Events

One of my most frequent assignments with IC Social was to cover different events on campus and in the Ithaca area. I created Instagram stories, live tweeted, took photos and got quotes from IC community members for Instagram carousel posts, and more.

IC125

Ithaca College's 125th anniversary took place during the 2017-2018 school year, and the school held a huge celebration for it. During the weekend of IC125, I was part of a selective team that covered the festivities on social media for the college. I attended multiple events a day, interviewed current students and alumni about their IC experience, and gathered content from the entire weekend of events.

Brainstormed with fellow street team members on how to best portray the college on social media.

Content Marketing

As the student social media strategist, 
I created Facebook ads and helped strategize content and ad strategy for the college's promotional posts.
